Braces are increasingly popular amongst adults. The British Orthodontic Society say adults make up half of all patients and braces remain the most popular treatment. The resurgence for braces has been put down to the simple fact that more of us want a beautiful smile. The attraction of the hit show has been put down to the fact that there are so many glamorous people on TV that the audience instantly warms to Betty who is striving to be glamorous.
