Our Experts - Dr Ilias Marinopoulos

Graduating in 2002 from the University of Athens Dental School, Greece Dr Ilias Marinopoulos started his profession with positions in a military hospital and a general dental practice. In 2005 Ilias decided to spend time at the Royal University of Aarhus, Denmark, one of the world's most respected universitys in its field. Ilias followed a rigorous short term orthodontic program, with an emphasis on treating complex cases in adult orthodontics.

Ilias commenced his specialist registrar training in 2006 at the renowned University of Gothenburg, Sahlgrenska Academy, Sweden, qualifying with his specialty studies in 2009 finishing with his Msc degree in 2010.

Ilias had been working in the clinics of the University of Gothenburg, Sahlgrenska Academy, (Odontologen) and in addition to this focused mainly on adult lingual and highly esthetic complex orthodontic treatments at one of the most prestigious private clinics in Sweden before deciding to come to England to continue his work.

Ilias has a special interest in highly esthetic and invisible adult orthodontic treatments.
